Automotive Technician - This 30 week
program has been designed to take a student with
little or no previous experience in the
automotive repair trade and supply her/him with
the necessary skills to seek employment in this
industry as an apprentice mechanic. The program
exposes the student to all aspects of servicing
and repair in the automotive repair trade with a
focus on developing practical skills.
Apprenticeship technical training credit for
level one will be granted upon successful
completion of this program.
Autobody Repair & Painting - This
program provides students with the practical
skills they need to work in the autobody
industry. Expert instruction and the use of the
state-of-the-art tools and equipment, has helped
many of our apprentices to earn a place on the
podium at Canada Skills competitions. Students
have the opportunity to enter into the three
different apprenticeships of autobody repair,
paint preparation, or painting/refinishing.
Heavy Duty Mechanic - This program
provides students with the practical knowledge
and training to work with heavy-duty equipment
and commercial transport vehicles. Students find
work everywhere where there’s heavy equipment:
from the oil fields of northern B.C. and
Alberta, to the shops that keep the 18-wheelers
rolling, you can find grads of this program.
